conveniat27 is more than just a national camp. For the first time, international guests from the global YWCA YMCA will be welcomed.
Around 5,000 participants are expected, alongside hundreds of volunteers and young leaders who will take responsibility and create a lasting, transformative experience for children and young people.
The camp is a unique gathering for young people from YWCA YMCA Switzerland and around the world who love camping, outdoor living, nature, adventure, meaningful conversations, and building friendships.

The last Conveniat took place 14 years ago and left a lasting impression on an entire generation. Now, the time has come for a new edition! Since 2022, a dedicated team from across Switzerland has been working on ideas and initial plans.
At the national movement conference (Konekta) in August 2024, the project team received the official mandate to organise a major YWCA YMCA Switzerland camp in summer 2027.
In November 2024, the project team and the President of YWCA YMCA Switzerland met for a strategic retreat to refine the vision, develop a timeline with key milestones, and implement a new internal structure.
The project relies on the support of YWCA YMCA Switzerland, regional associations, and local groups - but also o cooperation with public authorities, national and international partners, and other your organisations.
Together, the aim is to create a meaningful, inclusive, and transformative experience for thousands of children and young people.
